Coldplay are an English rock band from London. Formed in 1998, Coldplay achieved worldwide fame with the release of their 2000 single, Yellow, followed by their acclaimed debut, Parachutes. They are one of very few current British acts to achieve major success in the U.S. The band are currently comprised of vocalist Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion.
